Once again, it turns out that the Sahara was the place that dealt with us in the most straight forward way. We have a contract with them for a decent rate for the rooms we need. The pic to the right is the view from the outside, the pic above is from the inside... if you think you might know what a couple of drunk towerrats might be doing, you are probably right. |

So here is the deal, Friday and Saturday night: $63 per night double occupancy, if you are going to show up earlier, the regular mid-week rates are pretty reasonable (I see $27/night on the website) |

for extra people, taxes and misc fees are about $10 if I remember correctly |

The Sahara is located at the north end of the strip, definitely a hike to the center of the strip. The monorail train has a station right behind the hotel.
