A good part of the time in the past when we Siegelsbachers have met in Vegas was spent hanging around the hotel... some time at the pool, some time reminiscing with friends (we meet up Friday night and head out to wherever we informally plan to). |

Ashland National Wildlife Refuge is a short drive from Las Vegas, on the edge of Death Valley, pools like the one above are part of oases for many species of birds, reptiles, mammals, and fish adapted to this extreme environment and some not found anywhere else. |
